JEWISH READING GROUP STARTING IN MISSOULA
We are starting a book club! We will be reading and discussing fiction by and about Jews, and possibly some non-fiction as well. We will meet once a month on Wednesday evenings. You are welcome to attend when you have time and have read the book; no need to commit to participating every month. It’s not all that far from Great Falls to Missoula . . . so I thought I’d let you know.
The address where we will meet is:
Har Shalom
3035 S. Russell Street
Missoula
The first meeting will be Wednesday, January 23rd, and the first book will be Allegra Goodman’s Kaaterskill Falls.
On Wednesday, February 20th we will discuss Leslie Fiedler’s The Last Jew in America, which takes place in a fictional town modeled on Missoula.
If you are interested, write to us at readingjewsmissoula@gmail.com
Thank you, and happy Hanukkah!
