Another Eagle Project at the GFHA Eaton Road Cemetery!
This Saturday, June 18, Boy Scout Troop 26 of Black Eagle will be performing the second Eagle Scout project in less than a year at the Great Falls Hebrew Association cemetery at Eaton Road.
Wyatt Tanner, a 16 year old Eagle candidate, met with GFHA during our last Shabbaton with Rabbi Ruz, and then received approval from the Lewis and Clark District BSA Eagle Board to re-erect and repair the Southern fence at the cemetery. This fence was damaged about 30 years ago when the rural fire department had to drive over it to put out a fire.
Scouts and volunteers will be gathering at the cemetery at 10am on June 18 to pound stakes, straighten and re-attach bent wire and metal, and re-erect the fence. Any volunteers from the congregation would be very welcome. Wyatt is providing pizza and water for volunteers, who should bring a water bottle, work gloves and wear long sleeves and pants.
Wyatt, TODAH ROBAH (thank you) from congregation Aitz Chaim!
