MARCH OF THE LIVING HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR TESTIMONY
Shanah tovah and gmar chatimah tovah-
The International March of the Living is starting a new program in which we will all have the opportunity to hear Holocaust survivor testimonies
The next program will be on Wednesday Sept 30 10:00am PST- for the inaugural “When you Listen to a Witness, you Become a Witness” Survivor Speaker Series, featuring Mala Tribich, MBE, from the United Kingdom.
Mala’s story is one of incredible strength, sadness and resilience. Born in 1930 in Piotrkow, Poland, Mala survived horrific conditions in the ghetto and was hidden by Christian Righteous among the Nations in Czestochowa. She was later deported to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp and ultimately was liberated by the British Army from Bergen Belsen in 1945 at the age of just 14. To her complete shock, her brother Ben had survived the war, and they reunited in England several years later.
Mala was honored by the Queen with an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) and currently lives in London.

I hope you will share this program with your community
All programs are put onto the international MOTL site afterward, so if you miss it, you are able to watch it at a time which works better for your schedule
Thus far, there have been two programs, an interview with Jesse Eisenberg who portrays Marcel Marceau in the movie Resistance, and there was an interview with former Israeli chief rabbi, Rabbi Lau.
