✡️JEWISH LIFE TELEVISION HAS LAUNCHED IN NORTH CENTRAL MONTANA ON SPECTRUM✡️

Shalom~

We are pleased to announce that Jewish Life Television/JLTV, the nation’s premier 24-7 English language, Jewish-themed television network, has launched in North Central Montana on Spectrum Channel 172.

More cultural than religious, JLTV welcomes viewers of all faiths to enjoy its high quality programming, both original and acquired. At a time when we are seeing increasing antisemitism, JLTV entertains, educates, and informs its audience about the Jewish cultural and religious experience in the United States, in Israel and around the World, through programming across multiple genres, including cooking, children’s, classics, comedy, drama, exercise, history, inspiration, lifestyle, news and talk, travel and so much more.

We would be most appreciative if you can circulate this exciting news to your community.

We thank you so very much for your support of JLTV – now more than ever.

CHRISTMAS AT THE MERCY HOME

Now that thanksgiving is over, it is time to think about the Jewish community covering Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the mercy home.

The mercy home is a 24/7 woman’s domestic violence shelter. The Jewish community covers Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so that the staff can spend the holiday with their own families.

We usually cover the following shifts. Please let me know if you are able to help. Because this is a woman’s shelter, men can only volunteer when accompanied by a woman.

  • Sunday, 12/24: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
  • Sunday, 12/24: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Monday, 12/25: 8:00 am to 11:00 am
  • Monday, 12/25: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Monday, 12/25: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Shift times may be changed to accommodate volunteers schedules if necessary.

Please call or text wendy at 406 868 5712 or email wendy@weissman.com if you can help. Don’t worry if you are a new volunteer – we will get you a quick orientation and training before hand.

Thank you so much! The mercy staff appreciates any time we can donate to them.
