NEXT JEWISH HIKE … SUNDAY, JUNE 30, 2024; 24 Sivan, 5784, DEVIL’S GLEN

The next Jewish hike for the Great Falls AND HELENA communities (Helena is invited YEAH!) will be Devil’s Glen on Sunday 6/30. I suggest starting the hike at 10 AM and it will take 1.5 hours from Great Falls (not sure about Helena but if you look on all trails you can get directions.

I think the Great Falls community should meet at 8:15 AM that morning at the Smith’s parking lot, since that is the direction we will be going.

Aaron and I will most likely be camping in the area the night before and meet you at the trailhead at 10 AM. But if we decide not to camp we will meet at Smiths.

This is about a 6 mile hike but very easy, and if we don’t want to do all 6 miles we don’t have to. It is a beautiful hike.

Hope to see you there!

Our Sincere Condolences

My uncle, Yoel Zilkha, passed away yesterday in Israel. He was 95, lived an eventful life, including fleeing Iraq on foot to Palestine and fighting with the Haganah in the late ’40s. He pioneered a software tech company back in the 1980’s, and helped found a library and research center for Iraqi Jews in Israel.
