TORAH STUDY: ISRAEL SECURITY FILM

Dear community,

We all follow the debates—what Israel should give up, what it should hold, who to trust, when to act. Smart people disagree. The arguments go in circles.

A new film presents a straightforward framework based on timeless Jewish values that cuts through the noise. Not talking points. A coherent doctrine for thinking through Israel’s most impossible decisions.

Instead of hosting the monthly Torah study we will be watching the above video.

When: Monday January 12th
Time: 6pm

Please let me know if you’d like to participate.

MARCH OF THE LIVING — AN OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED

As you prepare for Yom Kippur, I want to share with you the 2026 March of the Living flyer.

If you are at a synagogue…and if there is any way in which you can put some copies out on display with any other publicity that you put out in your lobbys, etc for the High Holidays, I would really appreciate it.

Also…following the chagim…if you would think of 2 of your high school juniors of seniors whom you think would be good candidates for the March, I’d really appreciate it. Referrals means a lot more coming from people they know and look up to, then getting a “cold call.” Or, let me know the contact, and I will say that you are the referral.

If you are an organization which is able to publicize this in a newsletter…that would be amazing.

I’m hoping that we have a strong Western Region delegation for the 2026 March of the Living.

Thank you so much

Gmar Chatimah Tovah.

Have a meaningful fast.

Marcia
