MARCH OF THE LIVING — AN OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED
As you prepare for Yom Kippur, I want to share with you the 2026 March of the Living flyer.
If you are at a synagogue…and if there is any way in which you can put some copies out on display with any other publicity that you put out in your lobbys, etc for the High Holidays, I would really appreciate it.
Also…following the chagim…if you would think of 2 of your high school juniors of seniors whom you think would be good candidates for the March, I’d really appreciate it. Referrals means a lot more coming from people they know and look up to, then getting a “cold call.” Or, let me know the contact, and I will say that you are the referral.
If you are an organization which is able to publicize this in a newsletter…that would be amazing.
I’m hoping that we have a strong Western Region delegation for the 2026 March of the Living.
Thank you so much
Gmar Chatimah Tovah.
Have a meaningful fast.

WANT TO JOIN MJP FOR A HELENA HIKE? 09/21/25; 28 ELUL, 5785
If anyone from the Aitz Chaim community in Great Falls is interested in joining a hike with members of the Montana Jewish Project in Helena, please see below for more information.
- WHEN? Sunday, September 21st, 2025, 28 Elul, 5785.
- WHERE? Meet at the Old Shooting Range parking lot at 9:30 am.
- DIRECTIONS? If you type “old shooting range trailhead” into your map app, it will come up. Otherwise, contact Wendy at wendy.j.weissman@gmail.com
We are planning to hike on Mt Ascension. The distance will be between 4-5.5 miles depending on the route we take. We could take an easy, intermediate, or challenging route, and we are thinking the group can decide the day of the hike which route they’d like best. There will be some climbing even on the easy route, but not more than about 3/4 mile of it if we take the easy route. Regardless of route, the pace will be casual and social. We will stop periodically throughout the route to regroup so we are never too spread out.
